Caryn Green Caryn founded the Crossroads Center in Jerusalem (www.crossroadsjerusalem.org). Crossroads is an intervention program for at-risk youth, and the only program for troubled, English-speaking youth in Israel. She was the director and clinical supervisor of Crossroads from 2001 to 2010, where she worked with thousands of teenagers. In the late-1990s, she worked with mentally ill children at Eitanim Psychiatric Hospital and with mentally ill young adults at the Summit Institute. Caryn moved to Israel in 1996 after receiving her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York and her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Texas. She is also a certified practitioner of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. |
